Valeria Zambianchi is a research assistant at the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency since September 2017 and analyses the link between energy efficiency policies at national level with the implementation and practices in municipalities. She also researches into the best energy efficiency practices of cities and into the energy efficiency gap in the residential sector, with focus on nudging and behavioural economics.
Her experience includes also research support to rapid assessments of policies and projects for energy efficiency in buildings, both at national and city level. Moreover, she assists the senior staff with the Copenhagen Centre’s projects in Latin America, as well as coordinates and moderates the webinars in Spanish.
Valeria graduated with a MSc. in Global Development and concentration in environmental governance from Copenhagen University. Her fieldwork experience includes studies about participatory forest management in Tanzania and urban flooding in India.
