Peter Skotner is Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer at UNEP DTU Partnership (UDP) since June 2016. Prior to this, he has been the Head of Project Management and Communication Unit since 2007.
Over the last 12 years at UNEP DTU Partnership, Peter’s work has focused on management, finance and organisation.
Prior to joining UNEP DTU, Peter was a civil servant in various positions in the Danish public sector administration. He has served as Vice Director at the Municipality of Koege (2006-2007), Head of Department at the County of Roskilde (2001-2006), Deputy Head of Department at the County of Roskilde (1999-2001), and as Economist at the Danish Ministry of Labour (1997-1999) at the City of Copenhagen (1995-1997).
Peter holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Aalborg University and a Master of Arts degree in Economics of Human Resources from University of Sussex.
