Marco Schletz is currently pursuing doctoral research, exploring use cases of the blockchain technology within the climate change and sustainable development space.
Marco has experience in developing national transparency systems through the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT) and the Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT). Additionally, he has managed and developed multiple databases and knowledge platforms, amongst others the UNEP DTU CDM/JI pipeline.
Marco has managed projects with external partners across the broader international community, following the Paris Agreement agenda. He holds an international double degree Master in Environmental Science and is a certified Expert in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance by the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
