Léa Jehl Le Manceau

Research Associate

Léa joined UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre (formerly UNEP DTU Partnership) as a Project Associate, in December 2019. Léa holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Geopolitics from KEDGE Business School. Over the past three years, Léa has developed strong competencies in project management, communication, and analytical studies, by working in both the public and private sectors. Léa has a strong interest in foreign language and masters French, English, German, Spanish and is novice in Danish.

Léa gained competencies in international project management while working at the trade departments of the French Embassies in Prague and Copenhagen, and has gained a detailed-oriented and analytical mindset while being involved in the commercial and marketing insights departments of two leading companies of the Wine & Spirits industry, Pernod Ricard and Bacardi Martini.

After a humanitarian mission in Madagascar in 2014, Léa has developed a strong interest in climate change adaptation and mitigation related projects. She has spent seven months working at a leading cleantech cluster, CLEAN (Denmark). At CLEAN, Léa has co-managed two international projects in collaboration with C40 Cities, delivering innovative solutions from private companies, to cities facing the negative impacts of climate change. Willing to contribute to the acceleration of the green transition, and to help developing countries adapt and mitigate climate change, Léa is now working for the Technology Needs Assessment project at UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre.
