Consultant for Uganda Catalytic Climate Finance Facility

Global Support Programme receives funding from the GEF and is jointly implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It is in this context that UNEP DTU Partnership through UNEP provides technical assistance to a range of countries on different areas of NDC implementation. The focus of this scope of work is to explore the basis for the creation of a catalytic climate finance facility to support NDC implementation in Uganda through increasing and mobilizing private investment in low-carbon sectors.

Qualifications of consultant:

1)      Master’s degree or equivalent in climate finance. business or related

2)      Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financing for development

3)      Specific experience in designing financing vehicles for development in Africa

4)      Experience with climate finance in East Africa
